The Howerton family has been in the process of adopting Keanan for 2 1/2 years! He's been in Haiti and they have been visiting him and then having to leave him. That alone is heartbreaking for me to think about. It's insanely hard to have your child in a different country and they have been doing that for so long.
Kristin was in Haiti when the earthquake hit this week. She made it home safely but had to leave her sweet boy there. It's so hard for me to watch the news reports about what's happening in Haiti. I can't even been to fathom how hard it is for this family to have their son there.
