Shine Like Stars

Shine like stars in the universe as we hold out the Word of life (Phil. 2:15)
We're not trying to be rock stars but just shed some light on a sad and lonely world. Stay tuned for how God works through weak and tired, sometimes really cranky vessels.

A day in the life....

It seems like Addie's finding new ways to drive me
crazy these days. Today I came upstairs and found this....
she had to climb into the sink to get the "losion" out of
the cabinet.

And a new all time low for me....
I'm feeding the kids dinner in the bath.
(They don't usually all take a bath together
but they begged to be with Melia)
Here's the cake I've been working on for Caleb.
I decided to take pictures right away because
with Addie around who knows what it will
look like tomorrow.

  1. I think it sounds like fun to put them all in the tub together & do dinner :) Hey, it is multitasking at it's finest :)

Love the cake! More talent than me for sure!!!!!

  2. Oh my, dinner in the bathtub is so funny. Probably not to you though. Don't worry, you aren't the only one to do that. Kramer paved the way several years ago. Add a garbage disposal to the tub drain and you're totally in! Thanks for the smiles today. :)

  5. I made a bunch of typos - that's why I deleted the first 2 messages, I think my brain is set on "DUH" today.......And now of course I don't remember everything I wrote! Please don't ban me from your blog! :-/

Anyway, it doesn't matter where you feed your kids!! With everything you have to do & the hectic pace you live at, it's just amazing that you get healthy food into your kids on a regular basis - if the bathtub makes that possible, so be it! :-) I can hardly wait until this summer & the "pool" pictures, your kids obviously love the water - and each other - so much!
As far as Addie's quest for the "losion" - JP & I love Addie's antics - even though we know they can drive you crazy & make for more "clean-up"
The cake is great & we are sure your young Jedi will enjoy it.
    Sending hugs & prayers!
